Brief Description
The aim of this course is to give you a feel for the Portuguese language and culture. We will explore both European and Brazilian Portuguese. This 5-week taster course will give you the ability to recognise simple spoken and written Portuguese in day-to-day situations and the opportunity to discover the cultural aspects of Brazil and Portugal. 

Learning outcome :
By the end of the course you will be able to recognise simple written and spoken Portuguese. We will explore the alphabet and its sounds. You will be able to greet people and talk about yourself, your occupation and your family. You will also be able to count, understand dates and tell the time.

Notebook and pen or pencil

Formal and informal assessment and homework.

Continue on to the 10-week Summer course.

Please note refunds can only be made if a class is cancelled or closed.
