Brief Description
The aims of the course are to equip students with the theoretical knowledge to put to practice on a seaborne course leading to either the Coastal Skipper or the more advanced Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate.  The course is suitable for students who have successfully completed Day Skipper shore based and practical courses.

Learning outcome :
This advanced course in navigation, meteorology and all the aspects of seamanship required in skippering a vessel safely at sea.

How progress & success will be recorded :
Students are supplied with sets of exercises from the RYA, two charts, practice navigation tables and the RYA course notebook.  Other books and publications are also recommended during the course and the exercises are supplemented by work originated by the Tutor

Please note refunds can only be made if a class is cancelled or closed.
