Brief Description
This course is aimed at people who are new to computers, and people who would like to gain more confidence using their own laptop.
Learning outcome :
The overall objective for learners is to gain more confidence using their laptop. Outcomes could include some of the following:
• Efficient web surfing techniques
• Desktop shortcut creation
• Desktop customisation
• File and Folder management
• Control Panel familiarisation
• Using Skype
• Uploading pictures to the web
• Introductory Word Processing

How progress & success will be recorded :
Individual Learning plans, developed with the tutor during the first session, will identify individual learner objectives. Progress and Success will be measured by observation/questions and answers throughout the course.
