Brief Description:
Design will be the catalysis of all learning with embroidery/machine embroidery and mixed media techniques being covered, pushing the boundaries in all areas.  This workshop is aimed at embroiderers with a high level of experience in the field of creative embroidery.  Students are encouraged to extend and develop.  It is expected that students will have completed C&G 7822/7922 Embroidery or have attained similar skills and qualifications through other avenues of study.  Students should also have a firm commitment to the year’s course and an ability to work on own initiative

All students will have to go through a selection process – please ring the tutor – Pauline Verrinder – on 01954 260358 before applying.

Learning outcome:
Competence in a wide variety of textile art based techniques and an ability to work on own initiative.

To extend existing textile skills to enable students to develop a body of work using their own initiative which will enable them to progress their skills to a more advanced level.
