During this workshop we will be swimming in a sea of muslin, which will be distressed, manipulated, layered, stitched, and wrapped.  A challenging but fun workshop for those who have basic skills in free machine embroidery.

Requirements List
Work to a colour scheme

Notebook and Pen
Apron & Rubber Gloves
Sewing Machine with tools and handbook (Please check that your machine is cleaned, oiled and in good working order)
Spare pkt. of no. 90 sewing machine needles or topstitch 90 needles
A bound wooden embroidery hoop
An extension lead (if you have one)
Basic sewing equipment
Hand/machine embroidery threads as well as ordinary sewing threads that tone with your coloured muslin.  
White or cream sewing cotton
1 metre of white or cream muslin.
Half metre of muslin in two different colours which work well together (could be hand or commercially dyed.) (Can be purchased from Tutor).
One metre of white or coloured scrim 
Half metre of water soluble fabric

A materials fee of £4.00 will be charged to cover the use of mixed media and other necessary materials
