Brief Description:
This is a course which is suitable for all ages and those with some experience of Yoga.  It is non-competitive and aims to increase your movement and teach you how to work with your breathing and how to relax.  Please note this course is not suitable for ladies in the first three months of pregnancy.  No absolute beginners please.

Learning outcome:
After thorough limbering up we attempt some of the traditional Yoga postures whilst developing breathing  techniques, concentration and relaxation.  Come and try it out! See how far Yoga can take you.

What you need to bring to the first session:
A non-slip exercise mat and loose comfortable clothing.  A man’s tie or a soft belt can sometimes be useful.

On completion of the course, what might your next steps be :
Throughout the course we build on existing individual flexibility and strength.  We progress from gentle movements and ‘simple’ postures to more complex movements, sequences and more demanding traditional yoga postures.  Alternative postures are demonstrated and taught wherever possible.  Breathing patterns to synchronize with the movements are gradually introduced.

Please note refunds can only be made if a class is cancelled or closed.
